Well. How much like a rollercoaster can one day be.
I was planning on going to see my Grandmother today, 'cause she has had a cancer operation thingo. All good, apparently it's all gone and there's no need for chemo or radiotherapy, which is great.
The dodge part is I found this out AFTER all the surgery etc had been done. XD Not much contact with that part of my family it seems.
But anyway, I organise to go and see her, getting a lift off a mate. $50 for fuel, no worries. His car is on Gas, so it's not too expensive. All good. Sweet. Done then.
i get a phone call from the man, telling me that My brother is in hospital with pneumonia. Oh joy. Lucky I'm going down this afternoon anyway, I'll be able to visit him. All is good.
Next thing I know the car that the lift was organised in is FUBAR, so we won't be going after all. Fuck.
Then, I manage to get word to my lift and offer to pay for the fuel for the other car... Doubling the cost of the trip and leaving me with no cash for much else. XD Luckily I'm staying with the olds, so I'll have food to eat. lol.
So. It's been a day, to say the least. I need a scotch. Now.
